Baqer Khani

Ingredients:
Baqer Khani
  • 3 cups Maida 
  • 1 cup Sugar 
  • 3 Tbs Ghee 
  • 2 Tsp. Dry Yeast
  • 2 Tbs. Water
  • 1 Tsp. Baking Powder 
  • 1 cup Milk 
  • Badam and Pista, Peeled and grated 
  • 1 Cup Kaju 
  • 1 Tsp Kewra Water
  • Salt To taste
  • 1/2 Tsp. Green Cardamom powder (OPTIONAL)

Method:

  1. First of all take one small vessel. 
  2. Take 2tbs water and add 1 tsp sugar and kewra water or green cardamom  powder. 
  3. Make it little hot then add dry yeast. 
  4. In other vessel warm the milk and add sugar, mix well. 
  5. Now take another big vessel mix maida & baking powder. 
  6. Now add yeast, milk with sugar and knead the dough. 
  7. Wrap with wet cloth for 10 minutes. 
  8. After 10 min add dry fruits and garam ghee. 
  9. Wrap with wet cloth for 30 min. 
  10. After 30 min take one small round roll it. 
  11. Make wholes with the fork. 
  12. Keep in preheated oven 220c for 10-12min. 
  13. Then spread ghee on it.
